Hide Pretests and Final Exams
Administrators can now hide the Pretest or Final Exam until a specific future date. If they wanted to completely disable the exam for their online course, the administrator could simply set the Hide Until date far into the future, past the end of the course.
For an administrator to hide a pretest or final exam, click the Manage Course Section or Manage Online Course link in your coursepack to launch the administrative screens in another tab or window of your browser.
Click on Exam Setup, check the 'Hide exam until' box and enter the desired date.
The students trying to access the test will see 'Exam Not Available. This exam has been temporarily disabled by your instructor. Please contact your instructor for more information.'
Reset Pretest and Exams
For an administrator to reset a student's progress through an online course pretest or final exam, click the Manage Course Section or Manage Online Course link in your coursepack to launch the administrative screens in another tab or window of your browser.
Click on Details for the student whom you need to reset.
Click on the Pretest or Exam you need to clear and click Reset Answers.
The student will continue to show as In Progress but will have the opportunity to begin the exam again. Once a user begins an exam, test or quiz, it will show as 'In Progress' until it is completed, even if the test is reset.
