Remove Items from the Shopping Cart
Change Shipping Address After Placing a Completed Order
Please register on hbr.org to be able to purchase content.
Register
Click here to create a free hbr.org account.
Enter your First name, Last name, Email, and create a Password.
Password must have at least
- one number
- one lower case letter
- one upper case letter, and
- one supported special character @ ! # $ % ^ & + =
- no spaces
Click on the “I'm not a robot” reCAPTCHA, then click on the Create Account button.
Please note: Changing your email address via the Account Settings page of your account will change your login credentials to the new email. The password will remain the same.
Placing an Order
Use the Search (magnifying glass icon) in the upper right of the homepage to identify and locate content.
When you find the item you wish to purchase, click on the title of the article and then click on the Buy Copies icon.
For some items, you can click on the title or View Details button.
On the resulting page, be sure to first select the correct Format and Language and then click on Add to Cart.
Typically, format relates to:
A digital format such as PDF or Ebook which are available for immediate access within the Orders section of your account.
or
Hard Copy format such as printed materials including hardcover books which must be physically shipped. These require a shipping fee and shipping method, which can be selected on the Checkout -> Billing and Payment page.
Remove Items from the Cart
If you added an item to your cart that you would like to remove, click the shopping cart icon in the upper right of your screen, click on View Cart, then the Remove link for any items you want to remove.
Promo Code
If you have a special promo code to apply to your order once you add the item to your cart, click on the Shopping cart and on View Cart.
On Your Cart page, click on the Add promo code, enter the promo code, and click Apply.
Then click on Checkout to proceed to Billing and Payment.
Promo codes do NOT apply to:
- Bundles as they are already discounted
- other discounted pricing offers
- online courses and subscriptions
- collections
- shipping
Tax Exempt
If your organization is Tax-Exempt and you need to have tax removed while placing the order or adjusted off an invoice after you complete a purchase with payment, please email a copy of your tax-exempt certificate to customerservice@harvardbusiness.org
along with the following information
- Name on the account:
- Company:
- Email on the account:
- Phone No.:
- Address:
- Order no. if you have already placed an order:
