Why do I have to create an account?

There are many reasons we require and promote account creation:

  • The delivery method for our digital products is through the 'My Library' section of an account, making access to the website required to access all digital purchases.
  • Access to Teaching Notes and other educator resources is highly protected and requires a full profile before we are able to process an authorization, and the expectation is that recipients of Educator Premium access will closely guard their account details to prevent inappropriate distribution of sensitive materials.
  • Performing the registration process familiarizes users with the website
    • location
    • navigation
    • functionality
  • Completing the registration process familiarizes educators with the annual renewal/re-authorization process so they are not surprised/confused when their access expires after 12 months
  • Creating an account ensures the owner is familiar with the login credentials, and that these account details are secure
