Register as Administrative or Teaching Assistant (TA)

A professor can grant you access to their 'My Library' section with the ability to create and manage coursepacks, and the eLearning materials within those coursepacks. You will need to create a specific type of account, Administrator Basic, to act as an administrative or teaching assistant to the professor. The professor must initiate the process by sending you the 'Assistant Registration' email. When you receive the 'Assistant Registration' email, click the link below the words 'Please click on the link below to enter the site to register and become my assistant'

 

You will be presented with a screen offering both 'Register Now' and 'Login Now'. If this is your first time registering as any professor's assistant, click Register Now and create a new, unique account, even if you have previously registered as a student.

If you have registered as a professor's assistant before, you may use that account to log in.

Fill out all the required fields, which are marked by an asterisk and shaded yellow, and click 'Register'

 

Enter your 'Username' and 'Password' and click 'Login'.

 

On the resulting screen, click the 'Login Now' link. Make sure you see the name of your professor in the 'Instructors' drop down menu and click 'OK'.

You will now be in the 'My Library' section of the professor's account. You will see their name listed at the top of the screen and their username listed under 'Instructors' on the bottom left of the page. You can now manage the materials and coursepacks in the professor's account. Be aware that all changes are permanent and visible to the instructor.
