Course Modules

Course Modules are free, downloadable PDF instruction plans available to Educator Premium accounts for a complete course on a specific topic within a Discipline. We offer Course Modules in the following Disciplines:

  • Accounting
  • Business and Environment
  • Business and Government Relations
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • General Management
  • Health Care
  • Human Resource Management
  • International Business
  • Marketing
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Sales
  • Strategy
  • Supply Chain Management

Course Modules help instructors select and sequence material for use as part of a course. Each module represents the thinking of subject matter experts about the best materials to assign and how to organize them to facilitate learning and recommends four to six items. Whenever possible at least one alternative item for each main recommendation is included, as well as suggested supplemental readings that may provide a broader conceptual context. Case Studies form the core of many modules but we also include readings from Harvard Business Review, background notes, and other course materials.

To access Course Modules, from the home page of the Educators website, in the 'Teaching Resources' section, hover over 'Guides' so that it is highlighted in red and click on 'Course Modules'

On the Course Modules page, click on a Discipline at the top to navigate to the Course Modules available within that Discipline, and once you've chosen the Course Module you want to view, click on its title to open a PDF with a ordered, material specific outline, or syllabus.

The PDF will open in a new tab, or window of your browser. You can download, save and print a copy with your standard Adobe or browser tools. To import all the recommended materials into your account, as a Folder, click the 'Click here to add the full list of materials to your library' link.
