Once you've purchased a copy, to download the Ebook and Tools you will need an Internet connection. Subsequent access to your local copies will not require an Internet connection. To download your Ebook and Tools, go to HBR.org and sign in. Click on the person icon in the upper right and select 'Purchases'

Click the 'Download Files' link for the order.

Technical Requirements

Streaming Online Downloading to your PC or MAC Downloading to your mobile device
  • You must have a strong internet connection to stream high definition videos from the internet without interruption.
  • Before watching, make sure you've updated your browser to the latest version available.
  • Click the URL on the My Downloads page that says 'Stream Video'.
  • Flash is not required for streaming.
  • Click the video button to download the mp4 video file to your computer.
  • It will automatically be saved in your 'downloads' folder.
  • Open the file to play it from a video player on your machine.
  • If you're having trouble playing the downloaded video file, please make sure the latest version of QuickTime is installed.
  • Once saved onto your computer you can connect your smartphone/tablet to your computer and drag the files into your device's video folder.
  • This will store the video on your mobile device/tablet and allow you to play the file anytime, without an internet connection.
  • If downloading to an iPad or iPhone, click the 'Video' button and the video will begin to download to your device and start to play.
  • You may pause the video, but allow it to continue downloading until the download has completed.
  • As long as you do not interrupt the download in progress, you can then disconnect from the internet and view the video off-line.
  • As mentioned above, you may also download to your computer and then sync your computer and device using your iTunes accounts.
  • If using a device other than iPad or iPhone, click on the 'Video' button and the file will download to your device automatically.
  • You can play the video anytime, without an internet connection.
