How do I access my purchased materials? Will my PDF be emailed to me?
We do not email files. All digital products are available in your account on HBR.org after purchase. After placing your order on the site, the next page will read Thank you for your order and display an order confirmation number. If you have ordered digital downloadable material, or online courses, simulations, tools, and other interactive online products, you will see the product listed by title below this line, with a Download, or Access, link beneath the product title. You can click this link to download or access digital material. If you leave this page before downloading, you can access downloadable and online material by clicking on the person icon in the upper right and selecting Purchases. You can access the download and access links for items purchased as part of any order from that page.
Items ordered in a physical format (hardcover or paperback books, hardcopies of articles or cases, CD-ROMs, etc.) will be delivered directly to the shipping address you provided when placing your order.
When does access to purchased products expire?
Certain materials are available for 6 months from the date of purchase, certain materials for 1 year, and the rest remain available through your account indefinitely.
- Academic case studies (which do not appear in the Harvard Business Review) are frequently revised and updated. For this reason, they are downloadable on the site for 6 months from the date of purchase, after which they will no longer be available in your account. You may save a copy to your personal device, if you like.
- Online courses, simulations, online tools, and other interactive online products are available on the site for 12 months from date of purchase. These can not be saved or downloaded to your personal device.
- Other materials, such as HBR articles and eBooks, are available indefinitely within your account. They may also be saved to personal devices.
