What is Machine Translation?
Machine Translation uses computer software to convert text from one language to another. We are conducting a pilot project with Amazon Translate, Amazon's machine translation service.
While we anticipate some translation errors, we believe they will not be overly disruptive and expect that providing our content to Spanish-speaking audiences will be highly beneficial.
Why is HBR using Machine Translation?
We are using Machine Translation to offer content in Spanish and Portuguese to our customers.
This pilot project is not intended to replace our professionally translated content.
Through this initiative, we aim to learn about machine translation technology, its benefits and drawbacks, user preferences, and gather customer feedback.
How can I see automatic translations?

Who did these translations?
These translations were performed using Machine Translation. We are conducting a pilot program with this technology.
Why isn’t the entire website in Spanish?
This project is a pilot, so we are initially translating only the article contents, not the navigation, audio clips, or other ancillary elements of the site.
Can I purchase this translation and share it with others?
No. We are not storing these translations in our content systems. However, we do have some professionally translated articles available for purchase through our traditional channels.
How do I provide feedback?
