If your organization in the United States qualifies for tax-exempt status and you wish to place an order without tax, please send us your Tax Exemption Certificate (TEC) so we can update your account accordingly prior to placing your order.
- Please note that we cannot remove or refund the tax on an order that has already been placed with tax. Instead, the entire order must be refunded, and a new order needs to be placed once your account is marked as tax-exempt.
To update your account to tax-exempt status, please email us your Tax Exemption Certificate (TEC) along with the following details to customerservice@harvardbusiness.org:
- First and Last Name on the hbr.org account
- Company/Institution Name
- Email associated with the hbr.org account
- Phone Number
- Address
- Website you wish to be tax-exempt on: HBR.ORG
Proof of Tax-Exempt Status
- Please provide your state issued Tax Exemption Certificate (TEC).
- We do not accept letters containing the TEC number.
- Failure to provide the correct TEC documentation will result in processing delays.
